Before you could say a word the bartender hands you a colourful cocktail. “On the house, to celebrate our opening- a bird of paradise for each lovely lady.” You take the intricate drink and mumble 'thanks'. It looks impressive enough with layers of colour and a massive feather as decoration. You take a precarious sip... it’s sickly sweet with candy and fruit juice working together to create this horror. But it looks like a lot of trouble went into it so you smile and make the right appreciative sounds.
You wish it was a whiskey.
You convinced yourself to go to the opening of a "hip" new bar- and meet a handsome stranger (Yoongi), a music producer, who shares your love of whiskey.

Summary
It has been so many years, living under the roof with his father who doesn't act like a father, that Yoongi forgot how it is to not feel sad, depressed, afraid of what will happen when he comes home. He forgot how it is to feel hope until a spark of hope springs to life in his chest when he meets a kind, beautiful stranger at the probably lowest point in his life. This stranger rescues him, in a way, and with every new person that this stranger introduces to him, the small flame in his chest burns brighter, grows, gets warmer.
