Flames soar the night sky, dancing against the wind, burning through cement. The apartment complex behind Seonghwa scorches to ashes, the heat searing his back. The man he saw at the back alley of the bar stands before him and Wooyoung, with the sweetest smile on his face. Clad in full black, skin pale, hair strands barely hiding the daring eyes, the man mocks a deep bow, bending at his waist. As if the show he put on is over. Seonghwa holds Wooyoung’s hand in a death grip, cold sweat covering his body.
Is it him that set the building on fire?
“Who are you?”
Wooyoung opens his mouth to answer instead, yet someone else beats him to it.
“He’s one of mine, Seonghwa.”
Someone that, the mere sight of, has Seonghwa yearning. The earthen scent of his takes over every fiber of Seonghwa’s being. His gaze run over the bow shaped lips curled into a small smile, the facial features and body matured into a proper adult. The hint of a scar on his neck peeks above the dark turtleneck he’s wearing. The alpha’s stare is unwavering, soft yet sturdy. Kim Hongjoong reaches a hand towards him, palm up as if asking him to hold it.
“Let’s go. It’s time for you to come with me now.”
