When Kiriga had awoken again to the sound of heavy breathing, three hours had passed. He turned his head toward the noise, the panic he had tried to stave off earlier rearing its ugly head once more.
He didn’t think he had ever seen Rei look so sick. The Number One Star had been reduced in a matter of hours to a ghostly pale, sweaty, and trembling shell of his usual self. As he was approaching Rei to check for a fever, he spotted a bizarre pattern making its way up his neck.
His breath hitched at the sight. A series of bright, purple streaks painted the brunet’s torso. Upon closer inspection, Kiriga realized that the seemingly random series of twists and turns were trying to point towards a particular area on his chest.
