Milky white skin, so pale that it was difficult to tell if someone had powdered it or if it was just her bare face.
Reddish lips and cheeks contrasted against the fair flesh, resembling blood splotches over snow.
The rest of her was covered by many layers of pink and white kimonos all tied together with a large blue obi, still not as massive as the fees Shuuichi would have to pay after the night. Every aspect of her carefully groomed for the occasion.
He gulped, taking a good look at the sight before him, admiring everything.
The prettiest porcelain doll stood before him.

Light floods Kazuichi’s vision as somebody yanks the sack off of his head, blinding him. He takes in a big gulp of air, trying to tug on the handcuffs behind him just to see if they’ll still hold, and- yeah, no one is removing those, awesome. He’s on his knees on a wooden floor, the slats biting into his skin, and in front of him sits a poker table with half a dozen men sitting at it. Behind him are two more. At the head of the table sits a man no older than him, short and blond with a mean look in his lone eye and his mouth pressed against his folded hands, but Kazuichi isn’t looking at him. No. Of course not. How could he, with that big-ass dragon banner hanging just behind him?
Y’know. The dragon. The symbol of the Kuzuryu Clan.
Kazuichi’s mouth runs dry.

It’s only natural for you to not want your lover to spend this time of the year alone. For Rantaro, who would be away from his boyfriend for months at a time, it was impossible to not be there at this cold time of year. After all, ropes of velvet are always the warmest kind.
