    Evan, Buck, Buckley, the LAFD’s Golden Retriever of the 118, sat and listened as his captain, and one whom he had thought of as a father figure, tear apart any feelings he might have had for the man with his statements that he was the one keeping Buck from coming back to work. All the while stating that Buck wasn’t ready yet. And that was that.
    Silence descended before what had once been Buck, the Golden Retriever of the 118, returned to be Evan the Stray Mutt thanked his old captain for his words, and further stated that he would think hard on what was said in the room that evening. And looking at his captain’s wife and Sergeant of the LAPD, Athena, what hadn’t been openly said. Got up, shook the hands of his old captain in farewell, even if Nash, once Bobby, didn’t know it then, and kissed the cheek on Athena to say farewell to her as well.

    One of those things he did was call in his marker to Mike to get him transferred to where he would be taken care of and to get him a gods be damned lawyer who would actually work to get him a new trial and get the evidence that Sacks had covered up heard.
