Summary
(Illustrated)
The last time Sirius had seen Remus, Sirius had willed him to say all sorts of things, but all he'd said was "I have a job," and Sirius said "Okay, be safe." He had wanted to say much more, himself, but what could he say? "Sorry?" He wasn't sorry! And if it wasn't "sorry," what was it, and what would that conversation have even led to? And, in any case, there was no time to get into anything anyway, because Remus had a job to get to, and when was there ever time anymore, so he just let Remus walk out the door and spent the rest of the day tinkering uselessly with the motorcycle and high out of his mind, muttering under his breath to himself about how annoyed he was about the entire situation like a crazy person.
---
Sirius hasn't seen Remus in fucking months so he takes it into his own hands to find him, because he'll be damned if Remus avoids this conversation any longer.

Summary
‘No.' Is all Sirius manages to think when the bottle stops. 'No. No. No.'
This isn't fair. This is so, so, far from fair.
“Right." Remus mutters, and Sirius can feel his distain as though it's shards across his skin.
There was a time when they would've laughed; gleeful at the prospect of kissing each other in front of the others. Or when they would've blushed; shy but eager as Remus' scarred hands cupped Sirius' cheeks, smoothing the worry away before leaning in and pressing his lips against Sirius; sweet and naive but so, so sure.
But this time, it's nothing like that.
or
Just a slightly devastating fic with a happy ending (heartbreaking but healing sobbing in each others arms) about how a game of spin the bottle post-prank leads to panic attacks and, quite surprisingly, healing. And how the entire situation 100% gave James his first gray hair.
This is part 2 of a series of angsty marauders spin the bottle fics!

Summary
No, no, no, don’t say it, Lupin. He grasps desperately for half-truths, for something, for anything but, “Because I’m in love with you.”
He is going to murder Alastor Moody.
Sirius gapes at him. Then, thank Merlin, bursts out laughing. “Right, okay.”
...
In which Remus and Sirius are forced to tell the truth but find the perfect loophole: sarcasm.

Summary
“I’m so, so sorry,” the man continued, wiping a bead of sweat from the side of his temple with the sleeve of his faded Blondie t-shirt. He wore ripped black jeans and black and white Chuck Taylors and had his own messy curls, just like the baby. “I had no idea Teddy would be such a handsy little fucker at these story times, but he’s always grabbing… fuck, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t say fuck in the children’s room. Shit, I did it again, I’m so sorry, I don’t know what the fuck is wrong with me.”

After James and Lily died, Sirius Black's therapist told him not to date for a year. And that's just as well. He's got a 13-month-old baby now and quite enough to deal with, thanks. But the nosy neighbors in his building keep trying to set him up and won't take no for an answer. Enter Remus Lupin, another single dad who pretends to be Sirius's boyfriend, just to get the old lady brigade off his back and nothing more. Nothing more at all.

Summary
“Your dry wit does not help me, Moony!” James twisted to frown at him, threading his hands through his thick hair in visible distress. “I just want to understand what I’m doing wrong! Do I not shower her with affection? Do I not give her flowers? Do I not write poems–”
“I didn’t know you’d written poems.” Peter popped his head up from the armchair with a loud, resounding hiccup. “What kind of poems?”
“Limericks, mostly.” sighed James. “The occasional haiku if I’m feeling inspired.”
“Let me try.” Slouching against the sofa, Sirius grinned, his legs spread wide. “There once was a redhead named Lily, who made young James Potter act silly! She jinxed him with bats and bogeys and rats, but James only thought with his willy!”
Remus threw a cushion at Sirius’ face.
The summer of '76. Remus wants Sirius. Sirius doesn't know what he wants.
