She hated the word, yet it tugged at her anyway. And yet, something else lingered beneath it all—nameless, heavy, impossible to untangle.
Pomni no longer denied her feelings, neither to herself nor to anyone else— But that didn’t mean she always recognized or even liked what she was feeling. Sometimes, like now, it was just a tight knot in her chest, twisting and stubborn.
But Jax…
Jax always laughed. He always spun fear into mockery, tragedy into punchlines, annoyance into chaos. hidding the most human feelings behind a mask, at all times, even when he didn't quite was beeing perceived. But not this time. This was different. This was unsettling. Uncharacteristic.Maybe it was the realization that the newcomer at the circus reminded him too much of someone he had tried to forget. Or maybe it was just the abstract weight of memory pressing down, uninvited.
Pomni needed shelter, even if she wasn’t who Jax wanted. And Jax… Jax was hypnotized by the idea that some faces never truly fade, no matter how hard you try.

I am the one who hurts for fun.” His words fell effortlessly like a sharp knife. “If I led you on, it was only to make this hurt more!” His voice thundered across the tent, cracking with rage.
What a pathetic performance.
I turned my head toward him, unflinching, locking eyes. He would not be the last to speak. Not tonight. Who did he think he was? Every single stupid, cruel thing he'd done with everyone, and I had forgiven him for, and now he wanted to play bully? Not with me… not again...

Summary
Rory and Amy were gone, the doctor was alone, again, he still had River, but time flyes and when he least expected she was gone as well, the only thing left was darillium, but he couldn't go there, not yet at least, so he isolated himself from everything.
It's a funny thing, being alone for all those decades, having the TARDIS as his only company definetly didn't do him well, he couldn't hide himself from the world forever.
So when he accidentally bumped some books into the floor he could almost feel life wasn't that bad anymore.
The doctor wasn't alone, he had Sophie.

Joui e Kaiser não tem nada em comum.
Primeiramente, Joui prefere batalhas e a adrenalina de lutar corpo a corpo com criaturas e Kaiser prefere trabalhar de seu posto na tranquilidade da ordem ou de sua casa seguindo pistas ou criando estratégias, segundo que por algum motivo desde que eles se conheceram nunca se deram muito bem.
E nenhum deles parece querer concordar com nenhum outro sobre qualquer coisa, Kaiser acha Joui muito certinho e barulhento, talvez até um pouco desajeitado e Joui acha Kaiser um tanto rebelde, egoísta e quieto demais.
Arthur não hesitaria em dizer que o convívio dos dois era exaustante, sempre brigando, geralmente por coisas idiotas.
Mas e se isso precisasse mudar? Se por algum motivo algo os forçasse a cooperar?
Nenhum dos dois parecia muito feliz com aquilo.

Summary
This is a bedtime story; this is a lullaby about Amy Pond burning the universe down, searching for her stolen child.
Amy is allowed to be fierce and violent and furious in every timeline but the true one: the hardened military officer putting the eyepatch calmly back on Madam Kovarian and leaving her to die in pain; the wearied Girl Who Waited, trapped and furious and refusing to lay down and die. She is established as a woman with potential for such violence and power in every other world.
But in this one, in the timeline that stays, that matters, Amy lets the Doctor drop her and Rory off to play house while he goes and searches for Melody alone.
What?
No. Let Amy rage. Let her conquer, a loyal centurion at her side. She would be glorious.
(S6 and S7 rewritten for a world in which mysterious childhood friend Mels Zucker helps Amy and Rory fight to save their child).
