Years later, once a new bottle of scotch had been bought to celebrate their new flat, Satoru had joked at how long it had taken for the both of them to simply kiss. Of course, Nanami hadn’t agreed, arguing that Satoru had always been such a pain in the ass that kissing him was on his personal list of things he wouldn’t do even if threatened to death.
“That’s so mean Kento,” Satoru had wined, “why are you always so mean to me?”
Nanami hadn’t answered instantly and, instead of replying with one of his witty comment, he had simply said;
“I’m sorry for ever being mean to you, I… I love you.”
