    Summary

Rook’s face flared red at the suggestion he had done this deliberately. “It’s not like I knew trying to call in would bring you here. I just wanted to ask if you knew how to get out, so I can get back to cleaning up your mess.”

“My mess-?” Solas' eyes narrowed, and then, slowly, he smiled. “I will kindly impart my wisdom, in that case. The path to progress is participation.”

“Ah,” said Rook articulately. He could have guessed as much, but he’d hoped for a different solution. “So I have to...?”

“Lie with the individual at the centre of this memory,” Solas clarified.

“Right,” said Rook, then he gasped. “Wait, hang on-”

“You poked your nose into places you are not welcome, without considering the consequences, as is your wont,” said Solas, a touch sardonic. “This is the result. Are you pleased with yourself, Rook?”

Rook falls into another of Solas' memories. (Un)fortunately, so does Solas.

    Summary

“Solas,” he greeted, his voice soft and tired. “Is this your doing?”

Solas’ mouth thinned slightly, perhaps annoyed. Something he often was around Rook. “It is something I facilitated. Your mind is weary, and it cannot remain so if you’re to succeed.”

“Oh,” said Rook, which wasn’t the most articulate response, but Solas couldn't expect too much from him at the moment. “I’m handling it fine, you know, the- everything.”

“I can see that,” said Solas, tone dry.

Rook can't sleep, and Solas facilitates a solution, which spirals into more.

    Summary

Solas was quiet for a time. “Well then,” he said, finally. “It seems there is only one available solution.”

Rook raised his head, eyebrows jumping. Maybe Solas had some sort of ancient elven spell he could perform on Rook to ease the heat.

    “Yeah? What?”

There came a shuddering sensation, the earth moving beneath him, and Rook found himself thrown forward onto his knees and scrambling for stability. Once he’d recovered his bearings, his gaze alighted on two golden greaves directly in front of him. He looked up, and there was Solas, staring down at him with one corner of his mouth ever so delicately curled in amusement.

Solas helps Rook after Rook forgets to take his suppressants on time.

    "Isalathe?"

“Yes,” Solas says slowly. “There was once an order to everything, in the time of Arlathan. Even this. None in your clan spoke of this?”

“Spoke of what, ha’hren?” she pleads. “I’m so tired and nauseous and—” her insides clench uncomfortably, “hungry,” she gasps. “Please, Solas—if you can help me—"

"You are in heat, da’len,” he whispers. “There is only one thing that will bring you relief. You’ve seen the halla in spring, yes? It is no different.”

    Summary

“That drug will dismantle you in the hours to come," Fenris says. "I don't wish you to face them alone.”

She stops her mad pacing before the fire. Her tunic is barely worth the name—a chemise, meant to be worn underneath warmer clothing, and through which the rushing light of the flames shines like a veil. Underneath, dark, is the curve of her hips, the apex of her thighs.

    “Hawke. Make use of me.”

Hawke is drugged with an aphrodisiac. Fenris, sadly, cannot kill that. But he can do other things.

Takes place between Act Two and Three of Dragon Age 2, some months after Fenris ran out of Hawke's bed.
