Summary
In Professor Layton and the vanished children, Layton, along with his apprentice Luke and the ever-curious Flora, arrive in the quiet town, a place clouded by the mystery of disappearing children. They are greeted by Annabell, a local teacher, who introduces them to the town’s key locations, including a forbidding castle on the hill—a place linked to the missing children. As the group investigates, they are unexpectedly reunited with Desmond, a figure from Layton’s past with his own reasons for being there.
While tensions between Luke and Desmond simmer, the group delves deeper into the town’s history. A mysterious tower, erased from recent records, becomes the center of their inquiry. Emotional revelations unfold—Flora wrestles with her past and place in the group, while Desmond seeks redemption for his former misdeeds. But just as their investigation gains momentum, an unexpected chase leads them into a hidden passageway, where they fall victim to a shadowy figure and an unseen danger.
