Summary
Have you ever witnessed a stranger get knocked the fuck out just because they were friends with a dude that stole your friend's expensive watch? No? Well, Rin Itoshi has.
Rin Itoshi, an introverted boy who unfortunately got dragged to hang out with his brother's thug friends, witnessed the brutal beating of another boy his age — Isagi Yoichi. After living his life in a monotonous routine, all while feeling depressed in the process, his curiosity unexpectedly got drawn to Isagi, who brought rather an adventitious change to his daily life when he noticed how persistent he was in defending his “friend” against multiple guys, twice his size.
But when Rin discovers that the person Isagi fought so desperately for wasn’t just a friend, he’s forced to confront the rather unsettling truth — he wants to be the one Isagi protects instead.
Or: Rin watched helplessly as Isagi got beaten up, they then end up at the same school, things happen.
