Summary
Step into a world where peace is only skin-deep, and monsters don’t always hide in the dark.
Follow John West—a weary, overworked detective who has long since traded idealism for grit—as he navigates a world where humans and supernatural beings coexist under a fragile, uneasy truce. Outmatched by those with inhuman abilities, John relies on instinct, experience, and an unyielding sense of duty to uncover truths others overlook.
When a series of brutal murders begins to unravel the quiet suburb of Ravenrock, fear spreads fast—and the pattern behind the killings is more disturbing than the violence itself. The victims are not random. They are chosen.
As John digs deeper, he finds himself chasing not just a killer, but a purpose—one that blurs the line between justice and vengeance, and forces him to confront a chilling question:
In a world full of monsters… What truly makes one?
