“So you corner me while I’m in the shower?” A humorless snort bubbles out of Eddie’s throat at that response. “You really couldn’t wait another 10 minutes?”
“No,” Buck replies bluntly. And yeah, hindsight is 20/20, he probably could’ve gone about apologizing to Eddie in a much more appropriate fashion, but he’s never once claimed to be logical. At least not where Eddie is concerned. “I want to talk about our argument from last night.”
“Buck…”
“Please,” Buck pleads. He holds up his hands in surrender. “I’m not here to continue fighting with you, I’m waving the white flag.”
