“Would you shut the fuck up, Harry?” The words are out of Nick’s mouth before he can stop them. It had been a month since Charlie Spring ‘came out’. Came out also known as someone overheard that he was gay and spread it like wildfire. The bullying started almost immediately and hasn’t stopped since. Nick hasn’t said anything… either way. He knows Harry is doing the worst of it but every time Nick goes to tell him to shut up, Nick chokes.
Nick doesn’t know Charlie that well, in fact he barely knew who he was before all this. He still feels awful about it.

Their eyes meet, hazel to blue, and Grizz feels something hook into his chest, an irresistible pull towards the other boy. Unconsciously, he takes a step forward, and Sam, who has taken the rest of the stairs two at a time, meets him halfway and flings his arms around him.
