《昭烈春秋》系无名氏所作，生卒年不详，现代文献学考订此书于建兴朝所做，记录了季汉昭烈帝自兵败白帝至三兴炎汉间的一系列历史事件。其中对于昭烈帝刘备和武乡侯诸葛亮的个人琐事记录颇多，弥补了陈氏官修史书中为尊者讳的内容。因此有学者猜测作者乃刘备和诸葛亮的贴身近侍。即至近代，也有学者驳斥此书是后人杜撰，但证据都不充分。
本书在北宋时就已散佚。现存两卷本，分别为《永安宫杂记》和《南征北伐录》。《永安宫杂记》记录了自章武三年诸葛亮受召前往白帝探病到刘备和诸葛亮从白帝返回成都间的一系列事件。
第二卷《南征北伐录》记载了自章武五年起，刘备诸葛亮这对君臣先后治蜀、南征、北伐，直到入主长安的一系列历史事件。
