Summary
New York was cold. It seemed like New York was always cold. Maybe not in temperature, but definitely in aesthetics and people wise. The people were sarcastic and self-absorbed, no one looked up unless it was to shout at someone or to glare at whoever dared to disturb their mindless commute from Point A to Point B. Temperature wise, New York was either cold and rainy or hot and dry, there was no in-between. At least, not according to Derek Hale. And this is where our story starts, on a cold cloudless day in New York City with a certain Sour Wolf walking down the city streets.
