Summary
Matt Murdock, law-school drop-out, professional boxer, didn’t need to be in a jail cell. He needed to be at a hospital. A hospital for enhanced persons, really, so that he could be tested for X genes or mutations or whatever. Foggy didn’t know how to make that happen in these circumstances, though. But he did know this:
He was going to kill the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen the second he got hands on him.
(The Murdocks have a devil among them and Foggy is determined to find out who it is.)

Newly minted detective Brett Mahoney is noticing some fairly disquieting things about Matt Murdock. Namely, he's legally bound to one of his old friends, heavily in debt, and sporting different poorly-concealed injuries every other time Brett sees him. He's at least a little concerned. He's not sure if this is made easier or more complicated by the fact that his go-to investigations are the big-ticket ones Daredevil keeps kicking his way.
