Summary
The sixth calamity would soon be within their reach. Decades of hard work had made way to this very moment. All that was left, was to accelerate the imminent war between Mhach and Amdapor. For this purpose, Emet-Selch as the Archmage of Mhach was sent to Amdapor for a mission.
He had thought it would be easy. He had thought it would be quick.
He just had not realized he was played for a fool once more by Fate when he stumbled upon a young white mage in the heart of Amdapor itself.

Summary
Black Rose had brought about the end of the world.
The Eight Calamity had decimated most of the world and killed at least half of the world's population. Among the casualty was the Scions with the only survivor being the famed Warrior of Light who had lost her sparks as she wandered aimlessly in this desolate world in search of revenge and a means to die.
Until she chanced upon an Ascian she had never met before, whom had taken an interest in her and given her the most outrageous of proposal - the complete eradication of Black Rose in exchange for her hand in marriage.

Summary
Hades had said his farewells in Ultima Thule, had snapped his fingers and was ready for his soul to return to the Lifestream. All had gone according to plan if the Warrior of Light hadn't unconsciously chained him to her side through the power of her wish alone. Stuck in between the realm of the living and dead, unbeknownst to anyone but himself and Hythlodaeus, Hades was in a situation not of his choosing.
To make matters worst, Meteion had decided he needed a wake up call and sent him to an alternate reality - a world 6 years into the future. A future in which a different Hades had taken a different choice than him - to stay. It was done all in the hopes that he would 'learn' to hope again.
What a load of nonsense.

Summary
Torn from the life as he knew it, Hades found himself in a situation not of his choosing. Dark, dreary, and despairing with no end in sight. All he could do was count the days as he tried to hold himself together.
This is his story, from the other side.
---
This is essentially a side piece written to give light on the events that happened behind the scenes that couldn't quite fit into the main fic, "This Imperfect, Beautiful World." As it relies heavily on the knowledge that you had read the main fic, this story could not be read by itself.

Summary
It was in the year 1512, a time when the Senate rule Garlemald in greed and the people knew only suffering, that Aeliana first met the man who will later become Solus zos Galvus.
The sun was out of the clouds for once and the bakery was lively with people. But her eyes were fully on him, breathless with a sense of familiarity she could not place. But his golden eyes only looked back with scorn and from his lips were equally barbed words.
She blinked and decided she did not like him.

Added an additional chapter (16) for a more conclusive epilogue.

Summary
He chuckles a little, peering at her with half lidded eyes, “It is very possible for an Ascian to take control of a body while preserving the soul inside-”
“Wait.” She cuts him off, “You can’t possibly be suggesting- why…why would I ever agree to something like that?”
“I promise I would be the perfect gentleman.” He replies with a smirk.
AKA: Emet-Selch possesses the WOL and they kinda love each other?

Summary
After everything, against all odds, against the god he had summoned with his own breath and his own heart, they were here. Broken and scarred, but here.
He had mended the Fourteenth—the Warrior of Light—as best he could. But now, though they still had to mend the immense, cosmic mess wrought by their own hands, there was the smaller mess of navigating what she had become and what he had become in the wake of the Mothercrystal's requests and gifts.
It was daunting and terrifying, but the Warrior of Light was convinced that together they had a chance.
Follow-up to Saudade.
