Summary
On a higher level, Enid knew that Wednesday was an alpha, which meant she would, of course, possess certain physical traits. But she didn’t make the connection in her mind until she could feel it literally pressing up behind her.
Enid supposes a part of this hyperfixation with the, not discovery, but actual association, stems from the fact that Wednesday does not display common or traditional alpha traits. Enid hates that she even thinks this way, and hates feeding into the stereotypes of what normalcy should be like.
The thing is, judging purely on the physical side—with the exception of a certain appendage she definitely now knows exists—Wednesday is an omega, through and through. That is, if you were looking at it through a stereotypical and purely superficial lens.
Or, in which, after Pugsley destroys a decent chunk of the Addams’ residence, they take this opportunity to do some redecorating. Upon recommendation by their mutual friend Eugene, Enid takes the project, not realizing it’s the home of her high school, kind-of, crush.

“Because she is rough,” Reyna bluntly answered, “you are soft-” she nodded to Sage’s fingers on her arm, barely touching Reyna, but still touching her enough to feel the warmth of her skin, “you have a kind touch. It’s nicer.”
Sage smiled sweetly at her friend- colleague? She never knew where she stood with Reyna. It’s why she was surprised to find herself saying: “Oh but I can be rough too.”
