For years Lex seemed to be nothing but an upstanding businessman and humanitarian, until one day he wasn't. It wasn't until it was too late that I realized he might never have been my friend at all. I know you have a hard time accepting the same might be true of Lena, but I don't want you making the same mistake I made.”
Kara took special care in returning her belongings to her bag, careful not to break anything, before taking a deep breath and responding, “I know how you feel about them, Kal, but Lena doesn't read that way to me. Not when I met her, not for the years we were friends, and not now.”

Summary
Kara Danvers is one of the greatest F1 drivers the world has seen. Having been in the sport for 5 years, her exploits are legendary. Her knowledge of the tracks and her tenacity is nearly unmatched. However, she’s yet to clinch the World Driver’s championship, falling short by a mere few points each time. Each time has been out of her hands, whether it was her car failing or the men in the sport trying to run her off the track, or getting completely screwed out of the championship, the title of Champion of the World continues to elude her.
Left without a drive, Kara thinks her career in Formula 1 is over. But when offered a drive by someone most unexpected, she thinks she may have another shot at achieving her dream of becoming Champion of the World. Perhaps, she find so much more than that along the way.

Summary
