Only straight girls would call their friends their "girl friends", or say "I love you" whenever some minor problem that popped up is solved by Byulyi.
Straight girls might hold her arm like a lifeline at a gay bar, smile too wide, too stiff to be friendly to any interested onlookers. Straight girls possibly can also look at her, eyes shining with sincerity and an emotion so strong she has to look away.
Byulyi doesn't say anything, doesn’t put a word to this strange relationship they have. Straight girls are an enigma she's happy to leave alone.
