“Simply put, your body is losing chakra at a much faster rate than it is generating it. So much so that normal medical ninjutsu is being completely absorbed and expended almost immediately. I fear this is going to require a treatment that’s a lot more unorthodox compared to normal medical ninjutsu.”

When Sasuke over-exerts himself in a battle, he develops a chakra-deficiency disorder. In order to get better, he needs to stay in physical contact with a chakra donor until he can recuperate enough chakra to rebalance his network. Luckily, his "one and only" friend is anything but short on chakra.

"I missed you," he blurts out.
Sasuke blinks, his gaze faltering, the mask of anger falling.
"I didn't," he says, but his voice is flat, unconvincing.
"Liar."
Sasuke’s eyes flash, just a flicker of old fury, the instinctive kind. But then, something eases in his shoulders. His mouth twitches. His voice drops lower.
"Usuratonkatchi."

“What?” Naruto asks, making a face at him. “Is there something on my face?”
Sasuke hums, considering him.
“Alright,” he says, pushing his plate away to be dealt with later. “Give me your best pitch. Why should we get married?”
Naruto sucks in a breath, and then coughs as it gets stuck in his throat. His face turns an interesting shade of red, and he rubs at his neck once the coughing is under control.
“Oh man,” he mutters, fake scowling at Sasuke. “I was going to wait until dessert at least.”

Summary
Palm marks were the most common— everyone knew that. And almost always the result of carelessly accidental contact. It was the entire reason clans like the Uchiha had developed their first meeting rituals the way they had— to provide definitive, immediate proof of a match without the tediousness of thoughtless touches muddying the waters. As much as Sasuke genuinely had no interest in whoever was unlucky enough to bear his mark's match, he can’t help but resent the mark itself.
Because there was a distinctive, insistent part of him that knew the universe was wrong.
