Summary
Children were curious little creatures. Sometimes too curious for their own good. Childhood was a time where they first learn about the world and grabbed whatever opportunity to know more.
Viktor was only a young boy but his desire for knowledge was strong. A trait that was as much of a vulnerability as it was his strength.
It was his mistake to have listened and befriended the man who told him stories from his window. Viktor should have listened to his father to never let strangers in the house when he was out in the mines.
He really shouldn't have opened that door for him.
