  Summary

  Ruby has drunk the tea and fallen deep into the earth, but what dreams and nightmares wait to haunt her in the endless dark? Is Ascension death or something else, and what lays beyond either?

  This story takes place just after the events of Season 9, Episode 8.

  My first story in years. Inspired by my own shock and depression following the episode, and a little bit of Jean-Paul Sartre.
