(Exists outside of canon, but if your brain has the urge to locate it, I guess maybe think of like that weird era on this site where Clint was living in the vents of Avengers Tower and everyone was suddenly cool with Loki for some reason. But also you and Bucky live there too in your own apartment or something?)

“Are you alright, Bucky?” You asked, tucking your head under his chin. You felt him nod. You scooted upwards to look him in the eye. “Words?”“I’m alright, doll.” He gave a small smile. The dim glow of the lamp on your side of the bed reflected in his eyes. You pressed a delicate, languid kiss to his lips. His eyes fluttered open slowly when you finally pulled away. “Are you?”
