Summary
Paidge Valverde is moved to her grandparents' home in Oregon after her mother's death. Paige has to navigate a whole new state as well as a whole new family, who completely lack emotion. after it all gets too much Paidge finds herself running into the nearby forest for solace. in this forest she meets Vivian Rivers, a kind yet strange girl. Vivian dreams of being a detective and immediately sees the opportunity to test her skills in helping Paidge find her father and figure out the full story of her parent's past.
