    After studying him for a moment Eddie speaks, “Everything ok? You know you can talk to me.”
    He looks down at his now-cold quarter-full mug and pauses.

     

    He doesn’t need you
    You should just disappear

     

    “Yeah everything’s fine. Just feeling a bit restless.” Buck says swirling his mug.
    Eddie sits down beside him, he’s so close that their knees bump together, “Alright, but if you wanna get anything off your chest, I’m all ears.”
    Buck looks up from his mug, Eddie’s giving him a warm smile; their knees are touching and he can feel the warmth from Eddie's body, and it makes his heart flutter. For a moment his mind is quiet, and he’s not drowning. Buck’s unable to hold in the smile and small blush that creeps up on him, “Thanks Eds.”

    And then it all comes crashing down.
