Summary
It’s like she’s five again. She plants her little feet between Zhang Hao’s and he rests her head on his chest so she can hear his heart and how it beats for her.
“Appa.” He hums.
“Why don’t you and Appa sleep together anymore?”
Or,
Ten years ago, Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin fell in love. Ten years and 3 daughters later, they re-learn how to love each other — on purpose, this time.

Bookmarker's Notes
Author knows how to write human emotions to their full complexity. This made me nearly bawl so many times (mostly out of frustration and then relief and the frustration and then-).
Although Hanbin is a chaebol, that isn’t too relevant here. It’s more of a way to show that the family is financially secure (but not so secure in uhm. The family part).
Things do get better! But the path that stage is full of hesitant hops, reverse gears and more.
What makes the situation even more devastating are the kids. They sense that something is off, and that makes me want to protect them even more.
This fic is really thought provoking, because I just KNOW there’s so many families in the same situation they are in. Luckily it gets better here, but in reality, many times it doesn’t. This fic makes me grateful for what I have (a supportive family and amazing haobinist writers) -

Summary
“So, run it by me one more time.”
Vi paced the length of the room with her chin pinched firmly between her fingers. She had been tracing a wide oval on the floor, her boots clanking heavily with every step. They had been over the plan several times already, Viktor lamented soundlessly, but he understood her nerves. Ekko, who was busy spinning himself in one of Viktor’s office chairs, slowed to a stop with an exaggerated groan, dragging the toe of his shoes along Viktor’s floor. “Vi, how many more times are you gonna make us—”
“Until it’s perfect, Ekko.” Vi interrupted brusquely. “Everyone needs to be on the same page about what they’re doing, where they’re supposed to be, and what we’re after. We’re not gonna get another shot at this for months if we fail.”

OR: The kids from Zaun have a plan—find whatever Jayce Talis has been working on and steal it. The Progress Day Gala is the perfect opportunity to do so. The only issue? Viktor has to attend to "present" his research to Heimerdinger. He should be in and out quickly—just long enough to get Vi into place and dip. If all goes smoothly, he'll never have to interact with Jayce Talis at all. Simple, right?

THEE Jayvik fic, in my humble opinion.
Has the perfect balance of an extremely capable and extremely pathetic Jayce. He is living in a kdrama world where he saw Viktor 1 time and suddenly Cherry Blossom Ending starting playing in his head.
Viktor is Very Confused as is everyone else, but hey! He can be confused and still be charmed and wooed by a beautiful, intelligent, Piltover hunk of a-
UST levels in this slow burn is insane. This is DEFINITELY a slow slow slow burn. But that makes the payoff that much more rewarding 🤭

Gets an instant rec for the lines: “Your dog is a Marxist” but also for some reason, the line “Yuuri pushed his potatoes around his plate”. The latter line resonated in my soul 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
This isn’t just me being patriotic, it’s like that line opened up my third eye and made me ascend. Something about it makes my heart sing.Jokes aside, a very well written work! Has an emphasis on ‘many encounters’, something crucial in such turbulent times and shifting loyalties.

Summary
From snkkink.
Armin, Eren and Mikasa inherit a brothel. A very classy brothel, that's popular with the military. They have no idea what they're doing, but with Armin's cunning, Mikasa's ability to kick ass, and Eren's mysterious kink-discovering skills, they pull through okay. Mostly.

One of the strangest settings and dynamics I’ve ever read… yet so good….
We love to see young entrepreneurs (?) succeed at a fruitful business (??) by having a good business model and knowing their clientele (???).
Such a creative fic. Does leave you like how Levi felt in the fic - not exactly sure what exactly is going on but once you get to a certain point, it’s better not to ask 😆

Summary
Bilba has been a slave her entire life. All she knows of the outside world is what she sees from time to time outside the gates of Moria and the stories her mother used to tell her. Stories of a place called the Shire where her mother once lived and a placed called Erebor where, as far as she knows, her father still lives. Stories of dragons a thousand times larger, and more intelligent, than the beasts the orcs rode and of a strange concept called freedom where one was allowed to live as they wished with no one to tell them what they could, or could not do.
The stories meant little to Bilba. The only future she had was to live, and die, as a slave as countless number had before her.
And then the orcs dragged an injured female firedrake through the gates, her rider screaming obscenities behind her as he fought to reach her side...and everything changed.
