Summary
Nathan, at his wits' end and engaged to one Courtney Wagner, finds himself aboard The Arcadia, the world's largest ship to date. Exhausted by all that ails him, he teeters blindingly close to the end when his world shifts as an annoyingly confident man steps in to talk him off the edge.
Warren, finally going home to his mother and brother after a year and a half of drifting from country to country, comes across a curiously melancholy fellow and decides to become his shadow for the rest of the trip.
