Summary
Eddie Diaz has never been much of an overthinker. After years of military discipline being drilled into his brain, he’s used to being stubborn and set in his ways and that’s exactly how he prefers it.
That is until a four-year-old comes along, shows him the most abhorrent yet beautiful stick-figure drawing he’s ever seen and sends him into a full-blown midlife crisis where his debating if the kid is out to get him.
Now, as he questions everything he knows about tradition, his best friend, and why the thought of said friend dating someone else makes him want to commit a felony.

Summary
The man rolled his body again, but this time it wasn’t only his chest; it was like he was trying to get as close to Eddie as possible before he spun him again. This was different from any dance lesson that Buck had ever seen, and then the man caught Eddie and dipped him.
A breathless, surprised laugh escaped Eddie’s lips, and when the man brought him back up, their noses brushed, each breath fanning across the other’s face. Both of the man’s hands settled on Eddie again—not on his shoulders, not on his back, but low on his hips, his fingers curling over the beginning of that curve.
This was not a dance lesson.

Eddie moves in with Buck while his sisters settle in LA, and suddenly he's coming home from weekly dance nights flushed, sweaty, and happier than Buck has ever seen him.Buck is thrilled for him. Really. The fact that he's secretly in love with Eddie is nobody's problem but his own.
Then Eddie invites him to the club, and Buck discovers there's something worse than being left out of Eddie's new life: having a front-row seat.

Summary
Eddie never mentions Buck in therapy (turns out Frank would be a Buddie fan, if he only knew)
Buck turns to Frank with an apologetic wince. “Sorry again. I’m Buck,” he says, introducing himself as if that explains everything.
Frank looks puzzled. He glances past Buck at Eddie with a quizzical smile. “Uh… Theo’s guardian?” Buck tries again. Frank shakes his head. “Evan Buckley?” he offers, hopeful.
It becomes painfully clear that Frank has absolutely no idea who Evan Buck Buckley is.
“Here are the keys,” Eddie says quickly, tossing them to Buck and avoiding eye contact.
Buck takes one last look between Eddie and Frank, then slowly backs out of the office. “What the hell?” he mutters once the door closes behind him.
