And Souma had no issue with it most of the time, but when Takumi gets on one of his perfectionist kicks, spending extra hours late into the night in the test kitchens on campus, forgetting to stop for meals and refusing to listen to reason, he knows he has to put a stop to it. Takumi going past his limits and burning out was absolutely not happening on Souma’s watch. They were courting now, and Souma fully intended to take care of Takumi the way he damn well should.
