Summary
The sequel to Reprieve primarily follows Taylor (Lacewing & The Swarm), Peter (Spider-Man) and Ned (Web Crawler), members of the Critters on their journey to stay heroes in an increasingly complex landscape. On their journeys they deal with past mistakes, a good work-life balance, keeping injustices at bay, being ethical heroes, and trying to build relations between different worlds and dimensions.

Summary
Non-interference is how things should be, because with a still developing world around them, to impose themselves upon it and its people would be a perpetuation of an age old conflict. But things are never simple, and as the Chicago Wards find themselves in the Seven Kingdoms, they have to tread the delicate balance of ensuring the people of Westeros retain their autonomy while still trying to change an unfair system for the better.
The story features a group of super powered heroes who find themselves in an unfamiliar world, caught in a web of politics as various forces seek to turn them to their side. They are agents of change, a great power that comes with tremendous responsibility.
Gospel of the Lost Gods features a rotating roster of POV characters, Taylor is one of them but she is by no means they most important.
PS: The story is not about munchkinry of any kind, if that's what you're looking for then it might be the best idea to give this story a miss.

Summary
Taylor is offered a choice by the Faerie Queen. To let Contessa shoot her, severing her link to her passenger and getting the chance to live a normal life. Or to go to another world where she can be a hero again, only better. She chooses the latter and she's remade into the twin sister of Peter Parker.
