There was another uncomfortable pause. Fuck this. Fuck this team and fuck every single person in this room. Dana's hands shook. What was she doing there? What was she actually doing? She hated her job.
"Well, actually," Started the GM, icily cold. "Our focus is on protecting the franchise, not our players, so you should've disclosed their problem to us. This isn't about Hollander, this is about making sure our brand stays reputable." He paused momentarily, glancing at the people around the table. Dana felt sick. Her job was to protect the players, she didn't give two shits about Montreal.
