Enemy lines (idiom): the territory controlled by the enemy
In this slow burn, enemies to lovers story, a social justice warrior and a lawyer go head to head and learn that sometimes your worst enemy is your past and the control it has over your heart.
According to Mickey Milkovich, the last thing he ever wanted to become was a goddamn social justice warrior, but life had other plans for him. When the authors asked what he thought about this fic, Mickey replied: Who the fuck are you callin’ a social justice warrior?
