Summary
Dark Cacao is betrayed and overthrown by Affogato. He’s bleeding out and being hunted down by a snow lion.
All is lost, so it seems: no kingdom, no weapon, no one there to save him. He gives up fighting and succumbs to his fate, death by either blood loss or being eaten alive. But as he drifts into unconsciousness, he wakes up just a moment later. But how? Surely, he should have died by now. But, he’s alive.
Turns out, he did have someone to save him after all: Caramel Arrow, the same First Watcher he exiled from the kingdom almost a year ago. And yet, she is the one to come to his aid.
Why? Why does she stay loyal to a king who turned his back on her? Even now, with no kingdom to even BE a king of, she promises to be by his side.
Till death due her part.

"We could run away together." The sorcerer shrugs as he says it, and he speaks flippantly, but Dark Choco could sense the twinge of sincerity in the offer, more believing it impossible than being against the idea.
"I couldn't..." Dark Choco Cookie states, rotating the Strawberry Jam Sword in his hand, studying the ever-sharp blade. A blade coated in the jam of his homeland, of his own father. His jaw sets, and he looks at Licorice Cookie instead.
"I'm sure you probably could, if you tried." Licorice Cookie rebuts.
"I have. It's yet to work." He replies firmly.
"Well, exactly what is the worst that could happen, if we did run?"
"I kill you."
"You like me too much for that."
