Summary
George, the young Prince of the Geshuinem Kingdom is forcefully signed up to interview a couple of knights and decide if they have the qualities of being guards. But things don't go quite smoothly as one of them, supposedly named 'Dream' tries to break through George's shell and gets him to speak to him, henceforth creating an unusual friendship between them.
What happens when things don't go as expected, and instead they take him to a place where George would've never seen himself one year later.

“Well, listen, it’s complicated, but that’s not the point,” He leaves his hand resting on his thigh, “I don’t quite see why we need to have any sort of relationship between us, I don’t normally talk to the present guards either…"
The knight immediately picks up on what George is saying and nods carefully, “And I don’t find anything wrong with that. However, wouldn't you want some sort of change?”
George looks down at his feet and bites his lip, maybe he does.
Maybe after all these years, a friend would be nice.
He looks back at the knight who was offering his hand for him to shake, and maybe he’d be a good start to his new beginning.
