“You’re acting all skittish, but it seems you like throwing yourself in between us,” and then, Vi’s voice darkened. “Maybe we should take that literally.”
Caitlyn caught on to what Vi was saying immediately, her gaze already darkening at the delicious idea. But Maddie’s eyes furrowed, not quite sure what she was saying.
“What on earth are you talking about?” She demanded, trying to sound sure of herself, but she doesn’t think she liked where this was going.
“You think you can handle Cupcake?” Vi gave a small amused laugh. “No… I think a slight taste of what we do would break you,” she challenged.
