Summary
“Yeah, yeah.” Katsuki turned his head as well, meeting Izuku’s gaze. “You’re a crappy liar.”
Maybe Izuku was imagining it, maybe he was more drunk than he thought, but he was pretty sure he noticed Katsuki’s eyes dropping down to his lips. It was brief, fleeting, almost like he was afraid to even acknowledge that he was doing it. Izuku didn’t mention it, but his heart pounded nevertheless.
He let his own eyes fall down to Katsuki’s lips for a moment as well, his throat working around a swallow, then he was lying on his back again and forcing himself to look up at the stars instead. If he didn’t, he would surely do something stupid. Like grab Katsuki and kiss him, or worse, tell him how much he was falling for him.
OR
Bakugo Katsuki is everything Izuku isn’t: popular, a star baseball player, unfairly attractive. It drives Izuku completely insane, because he’s been crushing on him for a while now, but he’s almost certain that Katsuki’s straight, so he’ll have to settle for a very painful friendship instead.
