Summary
Barty never really understood why his father would get mad whenever he did something slightly wrong. Never understood why his father would prefer to spend hours locked up in his office instead of spending time with his family. All Barty knew was that his father didn’t like him; the only thing he cared about was his work. The only reason Bartemius Crouch Sr. married Barty’s mother was so he could have a son who would take over for him when he was gone.

Barty realises he has feelings for Evan but doesn’t think Evan feels the same. To try and not ruin their friendship Barty distances himself from Evan and ignores his feelings for Evan. However, not all things can go as planned, can they?
This fic sets place in the skittles/emeralds 4th year of school somethings may seem slightly confusing but will hopefully all be explained by the end.
