The minute he pressed a little too hard, his eyes blew open wide. When his mouth fell agape, his hand sunk into the canvas and she could feel the ripples scatter across it like water. When his hand slipped through, she could move a body she could only hope was hers. The minute his hand fell through, she jumped at the chance. Leapt at it. She would not spend another decade in a dream, locked away from reality.
When he jerked back, he pulled her free with him.
