    This came out a lot longer than I intended, but originally it was supposed to take place after Scary Monsters and before Stage Four of the race begins. Somehow it traveled off that track (........) and took a different path than working with canon, though it's not an AU or anything.

    Also, please note that although /I/ personally HC Hot Pants as nonbinary, I've stuck with the canon story of disguising herself as a male. In the beginning male pronouns are used but change to female.

    Anyway, I hope you enjoy this thing that I've been staring at for way too long now.
