He doesn’t recognize the dark blue eyes and messy black hair but he wished he did. Every game he’s played on his college team last year he noticed the same man, the same stare that caught his attention.

Akaashi played on the girls team his whole life and quit once he started his transition. It was the hardest decision of his life. He absolutely adored the sport, but considering the circumstances he was too intimidated to play the sport ever again. It never stopped him from living vicariously through the games he watched, the games he wished he could have played.

Kaeya was expecting Paimon to speak, given the Traveller’s lack of interest on social meddling. Much to his surprise, Aether opened his mouth before Paimon could continue. In an act of pure bravery, he took a deep breath and spoke.
“I-It’s from Liyue…” he said. There was a clear stutter in his words. Struggling to keep composure Aether began fidgeting with his hands. “I-It’s…It’s very pretty.”
“Zhongli said that it’s a very special flower.”

"Who are you and why are you following me," Diluc says sternly, but a moment later he realizes that he didn't need to ask. Because just then he smells calla lilies in a fresh dewy morning. It's nostalgic, really. There is only one person who distinctly smells like this.
"How long are you going to hold this dagger on me, dear brother," Kaeya rasps under the weight of the knife, "Or are you finally going to go through with killing me this time?"

Where an unknown force is stealing visions throughout Monstadt and Diluc, as usual, goes off on his own to track down the perpetrators. Though Diluc would have preferred to keep this a solo mission, he ends up having no choice but to join forces with his estranged brother, an dubiously sane Fatui harbinger, an (unknowingly) retired god, and some pirates.
(I swear this is mostly crack with some angst.)
