Your sound doesn't project well." his gaze soon moved to the setter, out there in the distance, practicing serves against the sand. "And if Kageyama would play, he would make loud, heavy sounds. Easy to hear but not very polished. It would hurt your ears."
They both laughed, until Yamaguchi didn't, suddenly realizing a sad reality.
"So… together we would make a dissonant melody."
"Probably." the other replied, deepening the emptiness in the pit of his stomach "But all genres of music have their audience, don't you think?"(Alternate universe where everything is the same. Except that Yamaguchi doesn't play volleyball and, instead, is part of the School Band.)

-¿Qué cosa?
-Es como si tú tocaras notas limpias, pulcras, muy bien logradas pero silenciosas, ¿sabes? Tímidas. Tu sonido no se proyecta bien. –su mirada pronto se trasladó hasta el armador, allá a lo lejos, practicando saques contra la arena –Y si Kageyama tocara, haría sonidos fuertes, altos. Fáciles de escuchar pero muy poco pulidos. Te lastimarían los oídos.
Ambos rieron, hasta que Yamaguchi dejó de hacerlo, repentinamente cayendo en cuenta de una triste realidad.
-Entonces…juntos formaríamos una melodía disonante.
-Probablemente. –repuso el otro, ahondando el vacío en la boca de su estómago – Pero todos los géneros de música tienen su público, ¿no crees?(Universo alternativo donde todo es igual. Excepto que Yamaguchi no juega voleibol y es parte de la Banda Escolar.)

Armin's eyes darken, but other than that his expression is almost unreadable, consciously guarded. The same thing can't be said about his body language. He thumbs at her hip bone. "Only if you want it."
