Summary
He watches from the vents when Nathan's family moved in after his passing, watches as the woman carries his ashes to a closet. He let out a noise of disdain at how she treated the once body of her own blood—his own blood boil at the treatment of his caretaker's ashes being handled so carelessly.
They are being mean to father. He heard the child say in their shared headspace, Abaddon agreed with the child.

Summary
“Are you going t—” Esther cut herself off, face falling in confusion, one eyebrow raised. “Abaddon?" she asked in a lower tone.
But the boy stood still, head turned, staring at the front desk. His eyes were squinted with suspicion. The flicked between the man, to Katherine who realised he was staring and returned the eye contact with a confused expression.
The man’s head turned. And Abaddon’s suspicion was confirmed. The white square on his collar confirmed his assumption…the man was a priest.-
A priest books into the Hotel…you know the one where a demon possessing a little colonial boy lives? What could go wrong?
This is trash I know…

Summary
“Your son.” She finished, and Nathan could almost see it. She would be grasping to sit down, or clutching her heart as if it, too, would fail her. “You have a son?”
After a moment, Nathan spoke. “Maybe?”
“And you didn’t tell me?”
“…No.” He collapsed into the desk chair, the old wheels squeaking and sliding underneath him. “I haven’t had him for that long, and he’s been having a hard time adjusting. I dont know, I’m just making up excuses.” He shook his head. “Are you mad?”
She hummed, thinking for a moment. “How old is he?” Which wasn’t an answer, but.
Nathan winced. “Uh, nine.”
“Thats a long time to keep a kid a secret.”
OR; Nathan tells a lie he is starting to get much too comfortable telling, and it leads him to taking Abaddon to Thanksgiving dinner
