Shane focused on how soft Rozanov’s voice was, how for the first time, at least that he’s ever noticed, it sounded like it was genuinely laced with care and concern.
“Could- Could you keep- keep doing that?” Shane croaked out between heavy breaths.
“What’s that?” Rozanov asked, his thumbs tenderly caressing his cheeks. His eyes scanned Shane’s face for any sort of clarity.
“Talk- Talk in Russian,” he sniffled.
Rozanov nodded as Shane hiccuped, he was so embarrassed. He was supposed to be in Rozanov’s room having sex right now, not hyperventilating in his own room begging for Rozanov to make him better.
“Konechno, ya mogu,” Rozanov smiled and nodded.
“Of course, I can.”/
ORShane has a panic attack and Ilya comes to calm him down. Something about his actions makes Shane feel so... loved, and he wants to show him that.

Yuna knows his next words before he even gets them out.
“Please keep them safe.”
And she’s all too quick to promise him. “Of course I will.”

Despite his tears, Shane huffs a laugh into the blankets. He rubs his forehead into Ilya's leg more insistently, back and forth, back and forth, words muffled by the blanket. "No, you idiot. Last night, 'gainst the Guardians. Kent said some shit to me, about you. And I- I chirped back, and I shouldn't have. He...he didn't take it well, and during the third he just fucking came at me when my back was turned, and you-" Shane breaks off with a dampened sob, pressing his face down harder. "You took a fucking hit for me."
