Summary
Tommy has always been independent. Always been a kid that people look at, ruffle the hair of and say "I never have to worry about you, eh?". Because of this, he never thought he needed that much attention. He's proven wrong in the worst of ways.
OR
Tommy experiences a world-tilting shift when he moves out of his childhood home and into a lonely, single bedroom apartment cities away from his family. This wakes an unintentional cry for help, and he falls heart first into an eating disorder. He tells himself he'll stop once everyone around him notices, but there's one person who refuses to bring it up.
Wilbur has always said he'd do anything for Tommy, but he's forced to acknowledge that that might not be the truth.

Summary
Everyone knows that Tommy’s always had some quirks about him; it’s to be expected from somebody growing up in the situation that he's in, when constant pressure and fear forces the brain to find some way to cope. Some are little things; insisting on drinking from certain cups, wanting to face the door when in a room, always stashing some form of healing potion in his inventory.
But creating an entire fake god must take the cake.
It doesn’t help that he’s adamant that no, he didn’t make her up.

Aka five times that the server doesn’t realize that Prime is an actual goddess, one time that someone does, and one time that someone didn't need convincing.

“What are we doing here, gents?” The duo across from him looked at him with matching looks of confusion. “Y’know, with the whole kidnapping thing, because I’ve got a shift later today and I personally believe the whole ‘let’s steal Tommy plot’ is overdone,” he said calmly, playing with the fork on his plate as he spoke. Wilbur had the decency to look slightly guilty, while Techno continued to stare at the boy with a blasé look.

“Tommy,” Tubbo began with a large smile. “You’re alive!” Tubbo exclaimed as tears pricked his eyes. Tubbo knew the whole thing was just a really cruel joke! Though, even though he knew, Tubbo didn’t have it in him to be upset at Tommy.
Tommy then turned to look at Tubbo and Tubbo felt his breath hitch in his throat. He—Tommy didn’t look like himself.
And if that wasn’t worse enough. . . Tommy uttered something that made Tubbo’s heart shatter.
“Who are you?“

Tommy is killed by Dream whilst in the prison and he isn’t able to get revived in time, leaving Tubbo and Ranboo with the ghost of Tommy - who likes to be called ‘GhostInnit’ - whose memories consist of things that scared him when he was alive.
And not only does the server have to deal with the ghost of a boy they all thought would never die, but Sam has to deal with Dream’s consistent lies that he’s able to revive Tommy.
Or. . . at least Sam thinks it’s a lie.
