Loki strains his eyes.
It moves ever closer, and Loki sees it is a person. A pallid cool light hovers around the figure’s skin, and as it draws near Loki recognises his brother."

"H–ah!"
To his brother who doesn't deserve lies. His brother who believes in him. His brother who cherishes him. His brother who is touching him intimately and reverently.
Loki thinks it'll be the gentleness that finally breaks him.
"Thor, I need—" When did he get so breathy?
"Shh, aye," comes the patient response, “I know you do, but you aren't ready."
Loki isn't sure what makes him first believe his soul belongs in one of the many hells. It certainly might be this next tale. For whatever he has done to trick and keep Thor in love with him, well... He's sure nothing can save him from the afterlife that has landed him in.
