    Ever since Chat Noir opened up to Ladybug about his family troubles, barely a day has gone by where she wasn't racking her brain for some way she could help him. Unfortunately, in the weeks since their meeting under the Crying-Tree, she has come up with nothing.

    Nothing, except for one very, very bad plan. But with every day marking another opportunity for Chat Noir's deadbeat dad to push him over the edge and into akumatization, the time has come for the nuclear option: the one thing they both swore they'd never do. The time has come for the masks to drop. Maybe then, with everything out in the open, they could work together to help him. The risks of doing nothing were starting to overshadow the risks of them knowing.

    Only... perhaps the middle of an akuma battle was the wrong time to be dwelling on all this. After all, if she isn't focused, someone could get hurt.
