They didn’t get that usual satisfaction when they sat down today, though. They sat slumped against the counter with their book about quantum physics lying open in front of them as Aqua rummaged through the kitchen. Seth wasn’t reading it though. They kept trying to! But the words…looked jumbled.
Was it their glasses…? No, no, they always kept their glasses super clean! It could’ve been the book itself, but having a kid’s word scramble seemed like it belonged in one of the café’s kid’s menus more than a quantum physics book.
It…couldn’t be because they’d pulled two all-nighters in a row, right? No, of course not! It was the book! Definitely the book. Definitely…
Or: Seth is extremely sleep deprived, leading to hijinks, and eventual comfort.

Summary
Blue knew whatever these headaches were, he’s had them for as long as he had been given this form. He used to say being able to be a human was a blessing, but the longer and longer he’d been a man, the more cons were added to his list.
Depression.
Anxiety.
Exhaustion.
Rage.
Not to mention the physical ailments such as soreness in every limb and his aforementioned headaches.
