    Summary

Colin is supposed to be abroad and drinking, touring, and perhaps even raking his way across the continent. Instead, he is stuck in England managing a modest yet still cumbersome country estate, grieving a recently deceased wife who apparently never loved him, and caring for a pair of newborn twin babies sired by a former lover of that same wife of his. He is trapped in a perpetual state of wretchedness as he tries to come to terms with so many seemingly insurmountable responsibilities before him. The only recent success comes in the form of a wet nurse he managed to hire. He is certain the disarming young redhead with abundant curves will be able to offer the babies the care and nourishment they so desperately require. With that rather significant concern off his plate, he expects he will be left with more time to wallow and slowly descend deeper into a state of despair in peace. He is not prepared, however, for that nurse’s unique brand of tenderness and care to extend beyond the twins, and he is certainly not prepared for the ways in which she just might be capable of healing his broken heart and soul.

    Summary

“Are you Gal’s mum?” The man asked. Brienne narrowed her eyes. She definitely hadn’t met this man before - frankly there was no way she would have forgotten meeting someone this beautiful. He was, by far, the most attractive person she had ever seen in real life. Golden blonde curls, sharp green eyes, a jawline that could cut glass. Frankly it was absurd how gorgeous he was.

    “Yes.” Brienne answered reluctantly.

“I’m Dunc’s dad. I don’t know if Gal has mentioned-“

“Oh!” Brienne answered, instantly relieved. “Yes, of course. I’m Brienne, lovely to meet you.” She offered her hand. The man took it but with his left hand instead of the right. He shook it backwards but was smiling easily. Christ, even his smile was stunning. Brienne couldn’t help but look down at his right hand and saw an empty sleeve where the hand should have been. Don’t stare, Brienne chastised herself.

“I’m Jaime.” The man introduced himself. “Lovely to meet you too.”

    Cheesy single parent au anyone?

    ***Completed💙

Episode 7 Fix it of sorts.

After the talk with Eloise, Penelope (feeling down after the fight with Colin) was left alone at the park with the morning buzzing of Cressida's fake issue and Penelope's issue of Whistledown. Apparently, two people promenading saw Penelope alone and decided to join her. It was Anthony and Kate.

This is a version of how Kanthony reacts to the lovers quarrel of Polin. And Kanthony's affection for Pen.
    Mix of angst and fluff.

    Summary

I always wondered what Colin would do if the Featheringtons actually took off for America — if Penelope disappeared across an ocean, not just across a ballroom. Vanished is my answer to that: a story of loss, longing, grit, and the kind of love that refuses to let go. What happens when a girl with nothing left finds herself on foreign soil… and when the man who once broke her heart will cross the world to put it back together?
